Narrow win for Delhi CC

NEW DELHI, DEC. 22. A five-wicket haul by Jitender Choudhry helped Delhi CC to a six-run victory over Ministry of Health in an Elite `I' division DDCA league cricket match at the Yamuna Sports Complex here.

The scores:

Elite-I: Delhi CC 213 in 34.3 overs (Dheeraj Sharma 59, Dr. Kalra four for 17) bt Ministry of Health 207 in 35 overs (Dr. Bajaj 48, Haneef 40, Jitender Choudhry five for 42).

Elite-II: Kishanganj Colts 181 for nine in 35 overs (Manish Kangra 42, Prem Khanna four for 34) bt Young Association 145 for nine in 35 overs (Kuldeep Bhatia four for 32).

Super plate-II: Rani Bagh CC 196 for nine in 34.4 overs (Sanjay 72) bt Syndicate Bank 104 in 31.5 overs.
