Brendan bats well
VISAKHAPATNAM,

Brendan Taylor scored a fine 84 (6 x 1, 4 x 11, 94 balls) to help Zimbabwe gain a 100-run first innings lead over VDCA XI on Wednesday, the second day of a three-day practice match at the ACA-VDCA Stadium here.
Another batsmen to make use of the practice match was Vusimuzi Sibanda (52, 4 x 7) in Zimbabwe's total of 283 runs, which came in the face of good bowling by the local team. Medium pacer Israel Raju and spinners Vatekar and Lakshman Kishore picked up three wickets each.
The scores: VDCA 183 and 30 for no loss in 13 overs vs Zimbabwe 283 in 115.1 overs (Brendan Taylor 84, Vusimuzi Sibanda 52).
