Unbeaten 117 by Avtar

HYDERABAD, DEC. 22. Avtar Singh's unbeaten 117 (11 x 4) helped Crown Cricket Club recorded a comfortable, 112-run win against Gemini Friends in the Southend Raymonds A-Division (one-day) knock-out cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

The scores:

Crown 237 for four (Avtar Singh 117 not out, J. Srinivas 53) bt Gemini Friends 125 (Seshagiri five for 20).

R. Dayanand XI 333 for four (P. Satyanarayana 117 notout, Vishwak 73) bt Galaxy 195 (Mineesh 45, Mohd. Azharuddin four for 53).

Youngsters 270 for nine (D. Satish 72) bt Gujarati 50 (Shayne Madge four for 36).

Deccan Chronicle 189 for nine (Praveen 52) lost to Mahboobnagar 192 for two (Ibrahim Ali 44, Anil Kumar 104 not out).

SCRSA 255 for six (S.Rajeshwar 89, D.Arvind 53) bt P & T Colony 105 (Aditya 45).
