THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, DEC. 22. Thiruvananthapuram men and Kottayam women won the overall titles in the State Senior wrestling championships that concluded at the National Club here on Wednesday. Thiruvananthapuram pipped Kozhikode by a point in the race for the overall title in the men's section. In all, Thiruvananthapuram won four gold medals to finish with 22 points. Kozhikode came second with 21 points and Kottayam was third with 15 points. Kottayam retained the title in women's section with 19 points. Host Thiruvananthapuram finished second with 12 points, while Wayand, Idukki and Kollam shared the third spot with eight points each.
