Cell phone stolen from accident victim
By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD,
DEC. 22.
An unidentified person took away the mobile phone of a road accident victim even as the latter was writhing in pain after falling off his motorbike at Mettuguda on Tuesday.
A private firm employee, Y.V. Chancha Rao, 33, of Nacharam, was returning home when a drunkard suddenly came across the road.
The motorcyclist applied brakes to avoid collision against the faltering man. In the process, his vehicle skidded and he sustained minor injuries.
His mobile and some papers fell on the road. Rao was trying to get up when a man walked up to him, picked up the cell phone and ran away, the Chilakalguda police said.
