Cognizant in Nasdaq-100 index

CHENNAI: Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation, New Jersey, an IT services provider, will become a component of the Nasdaq-100 index, effective at the beginning of trading on December 29. It will replace PeopleSoft Inc.'s common stock, which was acquired by Oracle Corporation. The Class A common stock of Cognizant will also be included in the Nasdaq-100 Index Tracking Stock.
