BHEL sets up centres of excellence

NEW DELHI: To improve in-house research capabilities, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd has set up two centres of excellence (CoE) at its corporate R&D division in Hyderabad. While the state-of-the-art CoE for computational fluid dynamics had been set up with an investment of Rs. 8 crores and would cater to a wide variety of products for the power and industrial sectors, a centre of excellence for simulators to be established. The state-run company is also setting up a Centre for Development of Permanent Magnet Machines, a company release further said.
