Ranbaxy gets Five Star Export House status
MUMBAI,
DEC. 23.
Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd (RLL) announced, in a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchage, that it has been conferred the status of a Five Star Export House by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), India. This is the highest recognition given to a company in India, based on its outstanding track record of Exports.
Welcoming the decision of the Government, Ramesh Adige, Vice President, Corporate Affairs, RLL, said, "At this juncture when Ranbaxy is looking at consolidating its presence in the U.S. market and order major pharmaceutical markets in the world, such an accomplishment reinforces our credentials as a favoured manufacturer and exporter of generics, branded generics and APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients).
