HUBLI, DEC. 23. The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has not held a referendum to determine the bargaining agent among the employees' union to secure rights for the workers for the past 13 years. This was one of the issues that came up for discussion at the biennial conference of the Akhila Karnataka Rajya Raste Sarige Noukarara Mahamandala. Members who spoke at the conference said the system of determining the bargaining agent every four years was introduced in 1992 when the Staff and Workers' Federation won the position by a slight margin over the mahamadala.
