Pondicherry
By Our Staff Reporter
PONDICHERRY, DEC. 23. The president of the Pondicherry unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party, R. Kesavalu, and the party legislator, A.M. Krishnamoorthy, today said the Rangasamy-led Government had lost people's faith.
Inner-party squabbles
Addressing separate press conferences, they demanded that the Government quit office as inner-party squabbles affected the functioning of the Government. Mr. Kesavalu said there was no moral right for the Ministry to remain in office as already senior Congress leaders alleged that the law and order had broken down. Mr. Krishnamoorthy told newsmen that V. Narayanasamy, pradesh Congress committee president, had pointed out that there were several deficiencies in the Congress rule. Mr. Krishnamoorthy said the PWD should invite and finalise tenders for various civic works on the Internet so that there would be no room for complaint. The frequent internecine dispute between the functionaries in the Congress party and the Ministry had dislocated the working of the Ministry, he added. The Lt. Governor should save the situation.
