VIJAYAWADA, DEC. 23. Mangalagiri Aditya Prasad has assumed charge as the Station Director of All India Radio (AIR) in Vijayawada. Mr. Prasad, who is also a violinist, served as the assistant director here a few years ago. He has been transferred from AIR Warangal to Vijayawada. Mr. Prasad had a hand in popularising FM (frequency modulation) radio in Warangal. He conducted radio campaigns for five years and won the prestigious Rolls Royce Award of Commonwealth Broadcasting Association.
