VISAKHAPATNAM, DEC. 23. K. Kumaraswami of VDCA XI scored a century (100, 6x1, 4x7) off the Zimbabwean attack in the second innings of the three-day practice match which ended in draw at the ACA-VDCA Stadium here on Thursday. With H. Vatekar he added 120 runs for the fourth wicket as the host finished the final day at 237 for five. A Ranji discard Vatekar, who scored 84 runs in the first innings, hit 64 runs (4x5) in the second knock. For Zimbabwe, leg-spinner Graeme Cremer, claimed three wickets. He had four wickets in the first knock. C. Mpofu picked up two wickets.
VDCA XI 183 and 237 for five in 96 overs (K. Kumaraswami 100, H. Vatekar 64) drew with Zimbabwe 283.
