Special train to Melmaruvathur

CHENNAI,
DEC. 23.
A special train between Mumbai CST and Melmaruvathur will be run to meet the demands of passengers in connection with for the `Irumudi' festival.
A Southern Railway release here said the special would leave Mumbai at 11.35 p.m. on December 26 and arrive at Melmaruvathur at 7 a.m. on December 28. In the return direction, the train would leave Melmaruvathur at 6.15 p.m. on December 29 and reach Mumbai CST at 10.30 p.m. on December 30. The train would stop at Pune, Solapur, Wadi, Guntakal, Renigunta, Arakkonam and Chengalpattu.
The Union Minister of State for Railways, R. Velu, had ordered the special train following demands from rail users, passenger associations, elected representatives and pilgrims, the release said.
