Courageous act

PV showed that he was mentally alert and physically fit when he rushed to Swami Ramananda Tirtha Institute on hearing that it came under knee-deep water following heavy rain in August 2001.

The institute staff recalled how PV waded through slush and water, climbed a rock and mounds of mud, all without any help from others, to see for himself the damage.
