MIRYALAGUDA (NALGONDA DT.), DEC. 23. The Nalgonda police have formed special teams to nab Tummalapalli Satyanarayana (35), who allegedly poisoned his wife, Vijayalakshmi (30), daughter, Mounika (11) and son, Sai Kiran (9) last week, at Sundarnagar in Miryalaguda town. The Additional Superintendent of Police, Krishna Swamy, who is supervising the investigation, told The Hindu on Thursday that he was waiting for the forensic report to determine the type of poison he had administered to them. Quoting a nine-page letter that was found near the bodies and purportedly written by the accused, the ASP said that he had killed his wife because she did not take proper care of his mother in his absence. "Since my children would become orphans, I am killing them also '' he reportedly mentioned in the letter. According to the ASP, Vijayalakshmi of Lakshmipuram in Miryalaguda mandal married Satyanarayana, a painter, fifteen years ago. He was charged with a murder in 1992 and left the house deserting the wife and children after being acquitted in the case. The family members searched for him but in vain. Vijayalakshmi opened a retail provisions shop. Two months ago Satyanarayana returned home and the family started a new life. Vijayalakshmi's brother, who visited the house on December 17, found the door locked and noticed foul smell emanating from inside. Following his complaint, the police broke open the door and found the bodies of Vijayalakshmi and her children.
