CHENNAI, DEC. 23. A special train between Mumbai CST and Melmaruvathur will be run in connection with the `Irumudi' festival. A Southern Railway release here said the special would leave Mumbai at 11.35 p.m. on December 26 and arrive at Melmaruvathur at 7 a.m. on December 28. In the return direction, the train would leave at 6.15 p.m. on December 29 and reach Mumbai CST at 10.30 p.m. on December 30. The train would stop at Pune, Solapur, Wadi, Guntakal, Renigunta, Arakkonam and Chengalpattu. The Minister of State for Railways, R. Velu, ordered the operation of the special train following demands from passenger associations, and pilgrims.
