WARANGAL, DEC. 23. Writers, poets, journalists, academics and advocates of Warangal district have a lot to say about their association with the late Prime Minister, Pamulaparthi Venkata Narasimha Rao. According to Mr. Rao's close relative and senior journalist V. L. Narasimha Rao, P. V. Narasimha Rao was born on June 28, 1921 at Laknepalli village of Narasampet taluka in this district. He studied HSC at the Collegiate High School set up by the then Nizam's government at Hanamkonda and later joined intermediate at Hyderabad. It was at this time, Mr. Rao took part in Vandemataram movement. His association with the freedom movement irked the Nizam rulers and he discontinued studies. Then Mr. Rao went to Nagpur where he pursued further studies. Eversince he was elected MLA from Manthani constituency of Karimnagar district in 1957, Mr. Rao was always in touch with his friends in Warangal. Mr. Rao represented Hanamkonda Parliamentary constituency and he had special bondage with poets such as Kaloji Rameshwar Rao and Kaloji Narayana Rao. He was one of the founders of `Kakatiya' weekly. He was actively involved in the Library movement, Ganapati navaratri celebrations in Hanamkonda.
