The police recovered a mobile phone from his possession. The accused, Shashi Bhushan aka Rinku, used to do whitewashing in MP bungalows and used to live in the jhuggis located at South Avenue. During interrogation, he confessed to having stolen the mobile phone and other articles from the MP bungalows in the past.
