KOCHI, DEC. 23. The Principal of the Cooperative Medical College (CMC), M.S. Subhadra, has put in her papers. Citing health and personal reasons, Dr. Subhadra will leave the college this month end. Dr. Subhadra, former Director of Medical Education, had taken up the appointment less than a year ago. The Cooperative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE) will appoint a successor, said the Director of CAPE, S. Unnikrishnan Pillai. For the time being, Indira Murali, vice-principal, will hold the charge. "We have left it for her to decide," said Dr. Pillai. This is the third principal to leave the college after it began in 2000. Meanwhile, the new complex will be handed over to the college at the end of the month, said the CAPE project manager, P.J. Jose Maria. The roads on the college campuses are being tarred at present.
