HYDERABAD, DEC. 23. The proposed widening of the Mint Compound road and other related issues to ensure smooth functioning of the Telugu Talli flyover has been attributed to the delay in its inauguration. The flyover is scheduled for inauguration on January 14. According to the HUDA Chief Engineer, Vivek Deshmukh, all minor works including the median construction will be over soon. However, the traffic police, at a meeting convened by the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, recently wanted widening of the mint compound road and other related issues to be looked into. The MCH has agreed to lay the 25-feet service road.
