HYDERABAD, DEC. 23. The State Government has been directed by the division bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court to file a report regarding processions and traffic problems in the twin cities. The division bench comprising Chief Justice Devinder Gupta and Justice Seshasayana Reddy was dealing with a writ petition in this regard. Several news items, which had given details of the traffic jams and the difficulties faced by citizens were placed before the Bench which treated these as writ petition. The bench directed authorities to give details about how applications for processions were being processed, how many processions were being permitted and steps taken by the police in this regard.
