Clear sky forecast

A mainly clear sky, with the minimum temperature hovering around 16 degree Celsius, has been the forecast for Friday. The city on Thursday recorded a maximum temperature of 30.6 degree Celsius and a minimum of 15.9 degree Celsius. The relative humidity stood at 24 per cent.

Bus pass counters closed

RTC bus pass counters in the twin cities and also in the 35 eSeva centres will remain closed on December 25, according to a press release.

`Circuit Bench'

The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission will be holding `Circuit Bench' at the Civil Supplies Bhavan, Somajiguda, from January 1 to 31. According to a press release, consumers can avail of the facility of getting their cases decided, apart from filing original petitions, first appeals and revision petitions.

Pilots' gesture

The Indian Commercial Pilots' Association, Southern Region (Hyderabad chapter), has decided to contribute Rs. 2.5 lakhs towards surgeries of 10 children suffering from cardiac ailments and being helped by the Save A Child's Heart Foundation at Apollo Hospitals. A cheque for the amount will be handed over to the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, on December 25, according to a press release.

Bonsai classes

School of Gardening of the Agri-Horticultural Society, Public Gardens, is conducting a four-day training in Bonsai from December 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Those interested can contact the phone numbers 23299779 or 55591474 for details.

English courses

Blood donation camp

A blood donation camp will be organised on December 24 by S. Ramreddy and his wife in memory of their son, Sai Vinayraj Reddy, for the third consecutive year. It will be held at Plot No. 275 on Road No. 25 in Jubilee Hills in association with the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, the Indian Red Cross Society and a number of Lions Clubs.
