NEW DELHI, DEC. 24. The Konkan Railway will run two special trains between Madgaon and Ahmedabad to clear the extra rush of passengers to and from Goa during the winter season. This will be in addition to 50 winter specials being run on the Konkan railway route. The Ahmedabad-Madgoan special train (no. 999) will run on December 25 and January 1, 2005. It will leave Ahmedabad at 8.00 p.m. and reach Madgaon the following day at 3.15 p.m. The Madgaon-Ahmedabad special train (no. 910) will run on December 26 and January 2, 2005. It will leave Madgaon at 4.00 p.m. and reach Ahmedabad at 2.20 p.m. the next day. The special trains, having 13 coaches, will halt at Vadodara, Surat, Vasai Road, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankawali, Kudal and Tivim, according to an official release today.
