Tata Power, REL asked to approach tribunal

MUMBAI, DEC. 24. The Bombay High Court today asked Tata Power Company to take its dispute with Reliance Energy to the newly-appointed appellate tribunal. The tribunal is expected to be functional from January 17. A Bench comprising Chief Justice Dalveer Bhandari and Justice D. Y. Chandrachud said that till the matter was resolved, its interim order regarding the payment system between the two companies would continue. The dispute between the two companies arose over the sharing of charges that TPC was paying to the Maharashtra State Electricity Board.
