BHEL SC, ITC SC in final

BANGALORE, DEC. 24. BHEL SC and ITC SC entered the final of the KSCA Group II, third division league tournament with facile victories in the semifinals here recently. BHEL defeated KSRTC by five wickets while ITC scored a seven-wicket victory over LRDE.

The scores (all semifinals): KSRTC SC 255 in 55 overs and 134 for nine in 30 overs (Kodandaram five for 75) lost to BHEL SC 230 and 160 for five in 28.4 overs (Govindappa 84 not out).

LRDE SC 124 and 179 for four in 30 overs (Alagar Swamy 76 not out) lost to ITC SC 176 and 128 for three in 25.4 overs (Ramesh 42).
