NEW DELHI, DEC. 24. A three-day competition to encourage Investigating Officers (IOs) to develop skills of systematic study and collection of forensic evidence from the scene of crime was held at the Police Training College here. According to a Delhi police spokesperson, the competition, held from December 21 to 23, saw IOs of the mobile crime teams of each of the nine districts and those from the Crime and Railways Unit participating in the competition. The Central Delhi team, represented by Sub-Inspector Ashok Kumar, won the competition, while the North-West Delhi team, represented by SI Satya Prakash, was the runners-up. The Special Commissioner of Police (Administration and Training), Seva Dass, presented the trophies to the winners.
