VISAKHAPATNAM, DEC. 25. The Sri Lakshmi Kanakadurga Auto Workers Welfare and Service Union, affiliated to CITU, which has been conducting Bhavani Deeksha programme for several years, is organising programmes from December 28 to 31 as part of this year's celebrations. The details of the programme were announced at a press conference here on Saturday by the president of the union, Vulavala Babjee, Pudipeddi Kameswara Rao, a senior devotee, Sambamurti Bhavani and Amba Bhavani. An Agnigundam Mahostavam would be conducted on December 28 near the Sri Kanakamma temple in Seethampeta, followed by Peetham Puja on the next day. A mass Kumkumaarchana would be performed by 216 women devotees on the morning of December 31. All the material required by the devotees would be provided by the organisers. A poor feeding programme for 5,000 people was arranged in the afternoon and in the evening a procession consisting of a large number of Bhavani devotees and Ayyappa devotees would be taken out from the Sri Kanakamma temple to the Kali temple at RK Beach via the Gurudwara and RTC Complex, Mr. Babjee said. The Bhavani devotee, Sambamurthy said that he was experience peace and happiness since he started observing Bhavani Deeksha seven years ago.
