Dies

COIMBATORE, DEC. 26. Susheela (31) died of injuries sustained in an accident that occurred a couple of days ago at Myleripalayam. An autorickshaw ploughed through a crowd waiting at a bus stop. Susheela and her daughters, Dharani (6) and Saranya (3) were among five persons who were injured. Dharani died on way to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital.

Auction

The Prohibition Enforcement Wing of the police will auction on December 29 vehicles that had been seized in anti-arrack raids. Police said totally 42 vehicles would be auctioned.

Camp

Richmond Hospital will conduct an awareness camp on first aid on December 26. It will be held in association with the Tirupur Gandhinagar Rotary Club near the Karumathampatti Police Station. The camp was aimed at stressing first aid measures during the golden hour crucial to rescue accident victims.
