British Parliamentary team for India
CHENNAI,
DEC. 27.
A British Parliamentary cricket team, drawn from both the Houses, Lords and Commons, is touring India for a series of goodwill matches, beginning with a game against the Cricket Club of India's President's eleven in Mumbai on Tuesday.
The touring party, led by Crispin Blunt, also includes current and former Government members, opposition spokesman, and journalists associated with politics.
The tour is being sponsored by KPMG.

In Mumbai: Dec. 28: vs. CCI President's XI; Dec. 29: vs Bombay Gymkhana, Dec. 30: vs CCI XI; In Udaipur: Jan. 2: vs Maharana of Mewar's XI; In Delhi: Jan. 4. vs Delhi Veterans; Jan 6: vs Indian Parliament; Jan 8: vs British High Commission.
