Jamia University lifts title
NEW DELHI,
DEC. 27.
Jamia Millia University won the North Zone inter-university cricket title beating Delhi University by virtue of the first innings lead here. The North Zone title for Jamia came after a gap of 13 years, having won in Varanasi in 1991.
The scores:
Jamia Millia University 348 in 122.5 overs (Sumit 94, Manoj 80, Rashid 64, Bhupender four for 34) and 45 for four in 15 overs bt Delhi University 268 in 96.5 overs (Bhupender 53, Aprajit 43, Ravi four for 70).
