GUNTUR, DEC. 27. The inaugural of the 65th All India Inter-University Athletic Meet at Acharya Nagarjuna University here on Tuesday will be devoid of pomp and splendour following the seven-day mourning declared by the Government after the former Prime Minister, P.V. Narasimha Rao's death. The ANU Vice-Chancellor, L. Venugopala Reddy, on Monday said that there would be no formal inaugural ceremony and events would begin as scheduled at 10.30 a.m. About 150 universities are participating in the five-day event.
