Orissa triumphs
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
DEC. 27.
Orissa scored an easy 63-run win over Northern Telecom Region, New Delhi and lifted the title as the fourth BSNL all-India cricket tournament concluded here on Monday. Earlier, Himachal Pradesh defeated Uttar Pradesh (East Circle) by four runs to claim the third spot.
The scores: Final: Orissa 179 in 39.5 overs bt NTR, New Delhi 112 in 42.1 overs. Losers' final: Himachal Pradesh 227 for six in 40 overs bt Uttar Pradesh (East Circle) 223 for eight in 40 overs.
