MADURAI, DEC.27. Officials and staff at the Collectorate here, led by the Collector, D. Raajendiran, observed one-minute silence today as a mark of respect to those who died when tsunami lashed the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu and others parts in India on Sunday. The Virudhunagar Collector, A. Mohamed Aslam, officials and staff at the Collectorate there too paid homage to the victims by observing two-minute silence.
