Partly cloudy sky

The night temperature is likely to be around 15 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the sky would be partly cloudy.

On Monday, the maximum temperature was 28.3 degrees C, minimum temperature 14.8 degrees C and relative humidity 50 per cent.

Sanskrit course

The centre for Indian Studies of the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages is offering a three-month `Proficiency course in Sanskrit - I' from January 10. Classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., according to the centre head, J.P. Dimri. Applications forms can be obtained from the centre office located in the Foreign Languages building between 10.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.

Diploma in computers

The Governor Susheel, Kumar Shinde, will launch a diploma course in Computer Applications as a part of the centenary celebrations of the Nampally Educational Campus, a 103-year old institution with 10,000 students from kindergarten to post graduate studies, on December 30.

In a statement here on Monday, the college centenary celebrations committee member, K. Premraj Yadav, said the alumni could contact the reception office at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Girls High School located behind the Board of Intermediate Education, Nampally.

Anchoring course

The second batch of part time certificate courses in news reading, dubbing and anchoring of the Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College would begin on January 20. Applications for the courses open to women alone can be had from the college office between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and the last date for submission is January 5. Matrimonial meet

The Pune-based Samyukta Karnataka Sangh is organising a get-together of prospective brides and bridegrooms at the Sree Raghavendra Swamy temple in Barkatpura on January 9 with an aim to integrate all castes and sub sects in the country. Further details can be had on 27560170.
