Order on Balakrishna case put off
By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD,
DEC. 27.
The petition filed by the prosecution to adjourn the Balakrishna case trial has been postponed for Tuesday for passing orders by the Metropolitan Sessions Judge B. Rajagopal Reddy.
The prosecution filed the petition last Thursday stating that further probe was needed in the case after producer Bellamkonda Suresh and Satyanarayana Chowdary stated in the court that some fans of the cine star, who were present at Balakrishna's residence at that time, opened fire at them.
The counsel for the respondents argued that the petition was neither maintainable in law nor on facts and should therefore be dismissed. After hearing both the sides, the Metropolitan Sessions Judge postponed the passing of orders for Tuesday.
