COIMBATORE: As part of its ongoing network expansion plans, BPL Mobile has planned to install its third Main Switching Centre (MSC) at Coimbatore before the turn of this fiscal. The Chief Operating Officer of Tamil Nadu Circle, R. Suresh Kumar, said that already one MSC each existed at Madurai and Coimbatore and the third one would now come up at Coimbatore again. The additional MSC would help in catering to the surge in call traffic especially in the wake of the proposed network expansion to 100 more towns before March and the resultant increase in subscriber base. To offer a bouquet of value added services, BPL Mobile also had plans to launch core GPRS services, MMS and caller ring back tones to offer value for money, he added.
