Chevrolet, Opel prices go up

NEW DELHI: General Motors on Tuesday announced a price increase ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 12,000 on some of its popular Chevrolet and Opel models to partially offset the rise in input costs. However, the price of its premium SUV Chevrolet Forester will remain unchanged. Chevrolet Optra in the entry D luxury sedan segment would be dearer by Rs. 7,000-10,000; Chevrolet Tavera by Rs. 8,000-12,000, and Opel Corsa by Rs. 5,000, says a company release.
