SIB public issue

JAIPUR, DEC. 28. South Indian Bank (SIB) will come out with a public issue next year to mop up funds for expansion, its Chairman A. Sethumadhavan said today. The bank would approach the Reserve Bank of India to enhance the 76-year-old bank's authorised capital to Rs. 200 crores from Rs. 100 crores, he told reporters after inaugurating the bank's 421st branch here.
