Big win for Eturunagaram
HYDERABAD,
DEC. 28.
Eturunagaram blanked Seethampeta 5-0 in the boys under-17 category preliminary round of the AP State-level hockey tournament for tribal boys and girls at Gachibowli Hockey Complex here on Tuesday.
Shyamsunder and Krishna netted a brace each while Ashok scored of a fine solo efforr to complete the tally for the winners.
The results: Boys: Under-19: Rampachodavaram 2 (Satyanarayana, Rajasekhar Reddy) drew with Eturunagaram 2 (Kishore, Roopchand). Under-17: Eturunagaram bt Seethampeta 5-0 (Shyamsunder 2, Krishna 2, Ashok 1).
Girls: Under-19: Rampachodavaram bt Eturunagaram 3-0 (Swaroopa 1, Venkatalaxmi 1, Nuka Ratnam1). Under-17: Rampachodavaram drew with Bhadrachalam 0-0.
