Pandu steals the show

HYDERABAD, DEC. 28. M. Pandu Dora of Rampachodavaram stole the show in the boys' under-14 800 m event clocking 2:17.59 in the first ever State-level tribal sports meet at GMC Balayogi Stadium in Gachibowli near here today.

Ch. Latchi Reddy (Rampachodavaram) and B. Srinu (Eturunagaram) clocked 2:17.81 and 2:07.50 respectively to finish second and third.

Boys: 800m: Under-19: 1. K. Srinivasa Babu (Badrachalam) 2:07.47, 2. B. Veeranna (Eturunagaram), 3. R. Bujji (Badrachalam). Under-17: 1. R. Venkateshwarlu (Bhadrachalam) 2:06.60, 2. L.Ravi (Eturunagaram), 3. P. Krishna (Rampachodavaram). Under-14: 1.M.Pandu Dora (Rampachodavaram) 2:17.59, 2. Ch. Latchi Reddy (Rampachodavaram), 3. B.Srinu (Eturunagaram).
