SBT in final
KOCHI,
DEC. 28.
State Bank of Travancore, Thiruvananthapuram scored an easy six-wicket win over Kochi Refineries Limited, Ambalamugal, to enter the final of the 24th Coromandel Cement all-Kerala cricket tournament here on Tuesday.
SBT will take on Ernakulam's Swantons CC, which had defeated Ernakulam CC by seven wickets in the first semifinal.
The scores: Ernakulam CC 183 for nine 30 overs (Pradeep 41, N.K. Umesh 40) lost to Swantons CC 189 for three in 26.3 overs (Sebastian Antony 69, Ajay Kudua 67 not out).
KRL 75 in 24 overs (Sony Cheruvathur five for 16) lost to SBT 76 for four in 19.1 overs.
