KHAMMAM, DEC. 28. The officers of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited has decided to donate a day's salary for the tsunami-affected, according to D. L. R. Prasad, president, coal mines officers association of India (SCCL) branch today. He said 2,400 officers had agreed to contribute to the cause. The amount would be deducted from the current month salary. The contribution of the Singareni Officers, which would come to around Rs. 20.5 lakhs, would be remitted to the Chief Minister's relief Fund, he said.
