The first day's scores:

Category A (15-17 yrs): Dhruv Jouhari and BH Raja (91 each), Abhishek Chatterjee (92).

Category B (13-14 yrs): Jaibir Singh (79), N Sharmila (82) Pritam Haridass (83).

Category C (11-12): Rahul Shankar (87) Pranoy Jacob, Prateek Sabharwal, Ali Akmal Jan and Nitin Gumbhir (100 each).

Category D: Akash Srinivasan and Syed saqib Ahmed (95 each) S Siddharth (103).
