Vellappally to inaugurate Hindu meet

PATHANAMTHITTA, DEC. 28. The 28th Hindu Religious Meet organised by the Thrikalanjoor Mahadeva Seva Sanghom (TMSS) will be held at the Kananjoor Mahadevar Temple from January 2 to 9.

Addressing a press conference here today, the Sanghom leaders, A. Rajesh, G. Sivaprasad and S. Prasanth, said the SNDP Yogam general secretary, Vellappally Natesan, would inaugurate the meet at 4 p.m. on January 2.

The Hindu Aikyavedi organising secretary, T.M. Radhakrishnan, will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural meeting presided by the Vellala Maha Sabha leader, K. Vijayammal. The Sanghom president, Ramaru Raman Potti, will deliver the benedictory speech.

The Aluva Tantra Vidyapeedom director, Gireeshkumar, the Kerala Khadi Village Industries Board secretary, M. Nandakumar, the former Additional Chief Secretary, D. Babu Paul, the Indian Institute of Heritage honorary director, N. Gopalakrishnan, and Swami Abhayananda Theerthapada will deliver discourses at the seven-day meet.

N.V. Nambyadiri of Parakode will lead the Srimad Bhagavatha Saptaha Yajnam on the temple premises from January 2.
