Truce extended

GUWAHATI, DEC. 28. The Centre and the Assam Government today decided to extend the ongoing ceasefire with the militant outfit, Dima Halam Daoga, by one more year from December 31. The decision was taken at a meeting between the Union Home Ministry officials and state Home Commissioner, B.K. Gohain, and a six-member team of DHD.
