UDHAGAMANDALAM, DEC.28. The Collector, K.S. Muthuswaamy, has said that new ration cards would be distributed till December 31 to eligible families. In a statement here today, he said that those who had submitted applications between June 1 and June 30, 2004, could produce their acknowledgement slips at the designated centres and collect their cards. A fee of Rs. 5 per card would be collected. Details about the centres could be obtained from the respective Taluk Supply Officers.
