Online railway ticket booking

CHENNAI,
DEC. 28.
The Southern Railway has announced that passengers could book tickets through the web site of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (www.irctc.co.in) between 4 a.m. and 11.30 p.m. with effect from January 1.
At present, the facility could be accessed between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. on weekdays while on Sundays, the service would be operational between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
