HYDERABAD, DEC. 28. A total of 60 short stories that reflect various facets of life in the Telangana region are being stringed together by the Vishalandhra Publishing House. Titled `Telangana Kathalu', the collection, to be released early next year, will also feature a short story penned by the former Prime Minister, P.V. Narasimha Rao. The publishing house Manager, P. Rajeshwar Rao, said that they had decided to include `Golla Ramavva', the short story that the former Prime Minister had penned in 1947. The story was then published in ` Kakatiya Patrika'. `Telangana Kathalu' would be an effort to bring together different perspectives of life and problems of the region as recorded by authors in their stories. The book would also have stories by Dasarthi Rangacharya, Naveen and Sadananda Sarada and would be released in three months. The publishing house was also planning special volumes of works by celebrated authors - Sharatchandra and Devulapalli Krishna Sastry.Towards promoting reading habit among children, the publishers had started coming out with books aimed at young readers.
