Seized auto's parts stolen

Tyres, seats and tape recorder were stolen from a three-wheeler that was kept in the custody of the Malakpet traffic police. According to Mohd. Ahmeduddin, his vehicle was seized on November 29 for not possessing documents. On December 27, Ahmeduddin went to the police station and paid the fine. However, to his surprise, he found that some parts of the vehicle were stolen. He lodged a complaint with the Malakpet Law and Order police.

SI suspended

A Sub-Inspector of the Nallakunta police station, Saidaiah, was suspended on the charge of colluding with managements of bars in organising obscene dances, the Hyderabad Police Commissioner said in a press release.

Found dead

A couple - Govind (24) and Maisalamma (20) - were found dead under suspicious circumstances on the railway track near Lingampally on the city outskirts on Tuesday, the Nampally Railway police said. Both were labourers and hail from Tamil Nadu. It is not yet known if they jumped before a running train or were hit by a train accidentally.
