Coast Guard ship sent to Oachira

KOCHI, DEC. 28. The Coast Guard Ship, Sagar, carrying a Chetak helicopter has been sent to Oachira in Kollam district where 300 people were reportedly stranded on a narrow strip of land.

The ship had left Kochi on Tuesday morning with medical aid and food, according to a Coast Guard spokesperson.
